Paul Lesley
Paul Lesley Ahadji is a Ghanaian artist based in Accra whose practice investigates the complex relationship between identity and space. He incorporates digital media, 3D creation, photography, and photo manipulation into his artistic process, creating works that reflect the shifting realities of contemporary life. Drawing inspiration from social media culture, cinema, video games, and his immediate surroundings, his work explores how identity is constructed, performed, and transformed within rapidly evolving social and digital environments. Through visual narratives, he captures the energy, fluidity, and interconnectedness that characterize modern existence. Recently, Lesley has begun integrating Augmented Reality (AR) into his practice, introducing immersive dimensions that invite audiences to engage with his work beyond the physical surface. This emerging technology further expands his exploration of perception, presence, and human interaction in contemporary spaces. He has featured in several group exhibitions, including, 360°+: Facets, Rears, and Musings Beyond Urban Cues, The Triune Being and Nsoromma Group Show.
